Jill serves as our Client Relations Coordinator, where she is often one of the first points of contact for prospective and existing clients. She is committed to providing exceptional client service, ensuring every individual is treated with professionalism, compassion, and respect from their first interaction with the firm.

 

With more than ten years of experience in client relations, operations, and administrative management, Jill brings a strong background in customer service, scheduling, records management, and process coordination. Her experience in fast-paced, client-centered environments has equipped her with the organizational skills and attention to detail necessary to help clients navigate the legal process with confidence.

Jill is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every client and takes pride in helping ensure the firm's day-to-day operations run smoothly.

 

Sheila Carson

Sheila has been with the firm since 2008, initially joining as a funding coordinator and billing specialist. She quickly developed a deep expertise in postmortem administration, which led to her taking on increased responsibilities over the years. Currently, she serves as our Director of Operations and Postmortem Administration Facilitator, overseeing key aspects of firm operations with a focus on efficiency and client service.

A dedicated and knowledgeable professional, Sheila is a proud graduate of Colorado Mountain College and also holds a paralegal certificate from Boston University. Alongside her extensive legal expertise, she brings valuable and diverse experience gained from her previous roles in both the banking and non-profit sectors, enriching her ability to serve our clients effectively.

Evelyn is a seasoned and highly skilled professional who functions as our dedicated funding and accounting coordinator. In her role, she expertly interfaces with our clients, financial advisors, and a broad range of financial institutions, as well as multiple Registries of Deeds.

Evelyn brings valuable expertise to the team, supported by her paralegal degree from Aquinas College.

Kim is our senior paralegal who plays a vital role in assisting our estate administration, and adoption clients. Kim has been working as a paralegal since 2011, gaining valuable experience, and has specialized specifically in estate and trust administration since 2015. Her extensive background enables her to provide knowledgeable and reliable support to both our attorneys and clients.

Kim holds a degree in Liberal Arts and Social Science from UMASS Lowell, where she focused her studies on Litigation and Legal Research.

Ian provides valuable legal support in the areas of estate administration, and litigation. He brings with him an extensive background in journalism and production, where he carefully honed his skills in research, writing, and effective communication. Ian joined us with a clear desire to transition his expertise into the legal field, and even in his relatively short time here, he has already demonstrated that he will be successful in whichever direction his legal career takes him.

 

Ian holds a B.A. in Communications from Houghton University, where he graduated with honors, reflecting his strong academic abilities. Additionally, he earned his paralegal certificate from Boston University, completing the program with an impressive 4.0 GPA.

Keira McDonald is an Estate Administration Paralegal, where she assists attorneys and clients throughout the probate and trust administration process. Keira has several years of probate experience working for a Florida probate law firm and later with the Florida Clerk of the Circuit Court, where she processed probate and guardianship matters and assisted members of the public with court procedures. These roles provided her with extensive experience working with probate filings, court personnel, and estate administration.

Keira earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Flagler College, with a major in Theatre Arts and a minor in Creative Writing. She is known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to providing compassionate, responsive service to clients during what can be a difficult time.

Luciano is our dedicated estate plan drafting paralegal who focuses primarily on estate plan drafting and meticulous document management. He works closely with our attorneys to carefully draft the various documents that make up your estate plan, ensuring every detail is covered. Additionally, Luciano collaborates with our legal team to revise and edit these documents to meet your exact specifications and preferences.

A native of Beverly, Massachusetts, Luciano graduated from Salem State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with a strong academic record. He is currently continuing his legal education as a Juris Doctor candidate at New England Law | Boston, where he has earned a place on the Dean’s List.

Jillian focuses on estate plan drafting and funding for Jamie Knudsen. She brings more than 10 years of experience helping clients in both legal and customer service settings and enjoys working closely with individuals and families throughout the estate planning process. Jillian works alongside Jamie to carefully prepare the documents that make up each client’s estate plan and to gather the important asset information needed to assist with funding.  “Funding” is the process of retitling assets and/or naming a client’s trust as the beneficiary of certain assets so they properly align with the estate plan. Proper funding is an essential part of making sure an estate plan works smoothly and carries out a client’s wishes as intended.

Jillian earned her Paralegal Certification from Boston University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she demonstrated strong leadership and academic achievement as President of the Graduate Sociology Student Association and Vice President of the Graduate Student Association.

 

Danielle DiPietro

Danielle is a valuable addition to our estate planning team, serving as our Funding Coordinator. “Funding” is the process of retitling a client’s assets and/or designating their trust as the beneficiary of certain assets so those assets align with the client’s estate plan. Proper funding is a vital component of every estate plan, helping ensure that the plan functions effectively and as intended. Danielle works closely with our clients and their financial advisors throughout the funding process to help ensure each estate plan is implemented accurately and efficiently.

Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, providing her with a strong foundation for effectively supporting our clients and contributing to the firm’s operations.

Area of Law Interest: Sports

Luke is a Legal Intern at Knudsen Burbridge while pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management at Gordon College, where he is also a member of the NCAA men's soccer team. He is concentrating in Sports Management with a minor in Pre-Law and plans to attend law school after graduation.

As a student-athlete, Luke has developed strong leadership, communication, and time management skills. He has earned Academic All-District honors, All-Conference recognition, and has been named a Presidential Honors Award recipient for his academic and athletic achievements.

Luke enjoys learning about the legal profession through hands-on experience and is excited to assist the attorneys and staff while building a foundation for his future legal career.

Lou (Heloisa) is a Legal Intern at Knudsen Burbridge while pursuing dual bachelor's degrees in Business Management and Communication Arts at Gordon College. She enjoys combining her interest in business, communications, and the law as she explores a future legal career.

At Gordon, Lou is an active member of the Business Society and writes for the college newspaper, where she has developed strong written communication skills through researching and publishing articles. She also enjoys serving her campus and community through leadership opportunities and volunteer work.

Known for her positive attitude and collaborative approach, Lou is passionate about learning, building relationships, and providing exceptional service. She is fluent in both English and Portuguese and is excited to gain hands-on legal experience while supporting the attorneys and staff at Knudsen Burbridge, P.C..
