Sheila has been with the firm since 2008, initially joining as a funding coordinator and billing specialist. She quickly developed a deep expertise in postmortem administration, which led to her taking on increased responsibilities over the years. Currently, she serves as our Director of Operations and Postmortem Administration Facilitator, overseeing key aspects of firm operations with a focus on efficiency and client service.

A dedicated and knowledgeable professional, Sheila is a proud graduate of Colorado Mountain College and also holds a paralegal certificate from Boston University. Alongside her extensive legal expertise, she brings valuable and diverse experience gained from her previous roles in both the banking and non-profit sectors, enriching her ability to serve our clients effectively.

Evelyn is a seasoned and highly skilled professional who functions as our dedicated funding and accounting coordinator. In her role, she expertly interfaces with our clients, financial advisors, and a broad range of financial institutions, as well as multiple Registries of Deeds.

Evelyn brings valuable expertise to the team, supported by her paralegal degree from Aquinas College.

Kim is our senior paralegal who plays a vital role in assisting our estate administration, and adoption clients. Kim has been working as a paralegal since 2011, gaining valuable experience, and has specialized specifically in estate and trust administration since 2015. Her extensive background enables her to provide knowledgeable and reliable support to both our attorneys and clients.

Kim holds a degree in Liberal Arts and Social Science from UMASS Lowell, where she focused her studies on Litigation and Legal Research.

Luciano is our dedicated estate plan drafting paralegal who focuses primarily on estate plan drafting and meticulous document management. He works closely with our attorneys to carefully draft the various documents that make up your estate plan, ensuring every detail is covered. Additionally, Luciano collaborates with our legal team to revise and edit these documents to meet your exact specifications and preferences.

A native of Beverly, Massachusetts, Luciano graduated from Salem State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with a strong academic record. He is currently continuing his legal education as a Juris Doctor candidate at New England Law | Boston, where he has earned a place on the Dean’s List.

 

Jillian McCarthy

Jillian is a new addition to the firm focusing on estate plan drafting and funding for Jamie Knudsen. Jillian comes with over 10 years supporting clients in both legal and customer service environments. Jillian works closely with Jamie to carefully draft the various documents that make up your estate plan, ensuring every detail is covered. Additionally, Jillian collaborates with Jamie to revise and edit these documents to meet your exact specifications and preferences.

Jillian earned her Paralegal Certification from Boston University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she demonstrated strong leadership and academic achievement as President of the Graduate Sociology Student Association and Vice President of the Graduate Student Association.

Ian is another recent addition to our firm, providing valuable legal support in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and litigation. He brings with him an extensive background in journalism and production, where he carefully honed his skills in research, writing, and effective communication. Ian joined us with a clear desire to transition his expertise into the legal field, and even in his relatively short time here, he has already demonstrated that he will be successful in whichever direction his legal career takes him.

Ian holds a B.A. in Communications from Houghton University, where he graduated with honors, reflecting his strong academic abilities. Additionally, he earned his paralegal certificate from Boston University, completing the program with an impressive 4.0 GPA.

She is responsible for ensuring that all matters are progressing smoothly and efficiently, as well as coordinating any necessary calls and meetings. Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, providing her with a strong foundation for effectively supporting our clients and contributing to the firm’s operations.

Adam assists our estate planning and funding team by ensuring that all documents are accurately prepared, organized, and ready for execution. He plays an important role in supporting the smooth progression of each client’s plan, helping to coordinate details and maintain consistency throughout the process. Adam works closely with our attorneys and staff to review materials, address any outstanding items, and helps ensure that each estate plan is implemented efficiently and with care.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of California where he graduated with high distinction. Adam will be leaving our office at the end of June to attend law school.
