Attorney Thompson focuses her practice in the areas of probate and estate administration, guardianship and conservatorships, and trust and estate litigation.
Attorney Thompson completed her doctorate in jurisprudence at Suffolk University Law School after graduating cum laude from Regis College with her bachelor’s degree. Stephanie has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts since 1996.
Prior to joining Knudsen Burbridge, P.C., Attorney Thompson was a special education consultant where she assisted families in navigating the special education system to advocate for their children’s rights in accessing appropriate services under the laws. Attorney Thompson spent the early years of her career as a private general practitioner, and, in addition to estate planning and administration, Stephanie has a broad ranging background in several other practice areas including family law, immigration law, special education law, real estate law and personal injury litigation.
Stephanie is the mother of 3 grown children and resides with her husband in Georgetown where she enjoys gardening and raising her chickens.
